The Kyusu Momiji – “Herbstblatt” is a fine companion, both for everyday life and for the tea ceremony. A bulbous body, natural colors and fine workmanship give this pot its natural character. Of course, this wonderful jug has a ceramic sieve, which has a lot of hand-made small holes and is therefore very expensive to make by the potter in the manufacturing process. The strainer has been perfectly fitted so that almost no tea leaves can get caught on the edge. The advantage of a ceramic strainer over a metal strainer is that the teas get a softer taste.
