The Asatsuyu variety is prized for its amino acid production ability that gives this tea its umami flavor.
Our Sencha Asatsuyu went through a process to emphasize this. The spring harvest will keep the tea most of the amino acids, while the steam process preserves this value. The quality of the leaves allows for rapid extraction and gives the tea a bright color.

  • 5 grams of Green Tea per 200 milliliter

  • Infusion Time 1. 1 minute and 2. 30 second.
